For SERVE4VETS-JBSAFC17 Only: If you are not related to a member of the United States Armed Forces as stated in Membership Disclaimer, then you are only allowed to join the in the 2.5% of ​those who do not have any military affiliation. This is based on availability.

Veteran applicant must provide eligibility documentation for verification purposes. ONE (1) of the following (1-7) documents must be provided to establish veteran service record:

1) Certification of Military Service, 2) DD-214* (Member Copy 4 with characterization of service discharge status), 3) NGB-22, 4) NA Form 13038, 5) Department of Veterans Affairs Summary Letter with ​Character of Service listed, 6) Department of Veterans Affairs eBenefits Summary Letter with Character of Service listed, 7) Certificate verifying Active-Duty Status from Department of ​Defense Manpower Data Center

For Veteran family member applicant. Provide ONE (1) of the following (1-3) to establish family relationship AND ONE (1) of the forms above (1-7):

1. Marriage Certificate

2. Birth Certificate

3. Adoption Certificate

For Surviving Spouse applicant. Provide ONE (1) of the following (1-2) to establish family relationship AND ONE (1) of the forms above (1-7):

1. Marriage Certificate

2. Death Certificate
